Feal Coilovers, 98-06 BMW 3 Series (E46)

When paired with Feal coilovers the E46 chassis has arguably the best suspension geometry for drifting. The E46 has substantially less room than an E36 for a long stroke front shock, but we at Feal Suspension have engineered a great solution by calculating the best shock body to stroke ratio. This solution allows for plenty of suspension travel and ample ride height adjustment. Sufficient suspension stroke and predictable drift-specific shock valving makes the E46 a true pleasure to drift.

The rear suspension design of this chassis creates a unique shock motion ratio yielding more shock movement than wheel travel. We quickly identified the importance of building a long stroke shock while minimizing the body length to allow for low ride height. Through many years of testing with top drivers we have found the sweet spot for shock valving, creating the best grip a trailing arm can offer.

We also offer a Pro Long Stroke version of this kit that provides even more shock stroke. The Pro Long Stroke kit utilizes front helper springs and a special offset rear top mount. A proper competitive low ride height can be achieved, but it will not allow you to slam your E46 like our standard kit.
